St. Ansgar Fundraiser
We play St. Ansgar at their school the night of this event (Friday, February 5), so we want to let everyone know about what they are doing:
Fundraiser for Bone Marrow Drive
The Bone Marrow Donor Drive that was held in November at St. Ansgar High School was done on a "Pay it Forward" system. This means that each individual that was registered that day had their kit processed so that they could be placed on the national registry. The cost to process each kit ranges from 50-100 dollars. This is not a fee that is required to be paid at the time of registering, but is still a cost that is incurred. The staff of St. Ansgar Schools will be working together to hold a Pork Sandwich Fundraiser to help cover the costs of processing the kits of the 180+ individuals that joined the national registry through their donor drive. This fundraiser dinner will be held on Friday, February 5 at the St. Ansgar High School.
Serving will be before the basketball game, from 4:30 - 7 PM. This is a free-will offering fundraiser. For more information, contact Jenni Brumm, 641-713-4720.
