Section 504
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 directs schools receiving federal funding to eliminate discrimination based on disability from all aspects of school operation. As a recipient of federal funds, the Northwood-Kensett Community School District provides students meeting Section 504 eligibility equal physical and academic access to services, programs, and activities as those offered to the general population.
